Eveline Robinson

08.18.26

Eveline Robinson earned her wings on August 18, 2026, at the age of 94, leaving behind a beautiful legacy of love, family, faith, and treasured memories.

Eveline was born on January 18, 1932, in Branson, Colorado, to Alfred and Nettie Kyle. She attended schools in Trinidad, Weston, and Hoehne, Colorado. It was there that she met the love of her life and her one and only sweetheart, Roy Lee Robinson.

Roy and Eveline shared an extraordinary 65 years of marriage, building a life together centered around family, love, hard work, and devotion to one another.

Eveline had a special gift and passion for quilting. Her beautiful quilts earned numerous ribbons over the years, reflecting the patience, creativity, and love she poured into everything she made. She also shared her talent with others by teaching quilting at the college, passing along a craft she deeply loved to future generations.

Eveline and Roy also shared a love for classic cars. As members of a car club, they enjoyed attending many car shows together, making wonderful memories with friends and fellow car enthusiasts. Eveline especially enjoyed proudly showing off her beautiful 1968 Fastback Mustang. Their love of cars, the friendships they made, and the many shows they attended together became another special chapter in their 65 years of life and marriage.

Eveline was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Nettie Kile; her seven brothers and one sister; her beloved husband, Roy Lee Robinson; and her son, Alan.

She is survived by her son, Roy Robinson; her favorite daughter-in-law, Bertha; her favorite daughter, Sharon Robinson; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and one great-great-great-grandchild.

Roy and Eveline had tremendously big hearts. Throughout their lives, they welcomed many special people into those hearts, treating them as family and always keeping them close. Their love extended far beyond bloodlines, and the lives they touched are part of the beautiful legacy they leave behind.

Eveline will be remembered for her devotion to family, her beautiful quilts, her love of classic cars, her generous heart, and the countless memories she created with those she loved. While she will be deeply missed, her legacy will continue through the generations of family and friends whose lives were blessed by knowing her.

Funeral services will be held Monday, August 24, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Comi Funeral Home, 1804 East Main Street, Trinidad, Colorado 81082.

Interment will follow at the Masonic Cemetery.
