n Loving Memory of Harold Rowe
It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Harold Rowe, a beloved husband, father, son, brother, Marine, veteran, and friend.
Harold was a hardworking man who loved deeply and lived his life with determination. More than anything, he was proud to be a daddy. His five children, Carly Lynn, Lucas James, Rilee Joy, Christopher James, and Odin Xane, were among the greatest blessings of his life. He loved his family fiercely and wanted nothing more than to be there for the people he loved.
Harold was a devoted husband to his wife, Dezirea, who shared his life and stood beside him through his journey. His family was at the heart of everything he did.
Harold proudly served his country as a United States Marine. Being a Marine and a veteran was something he carried with tremendous pride. His time in the Marine Corps was an important part of the man he became—strong, determined, disciplined, and willing to face challenges head-on. He was proud to have served his country, and his family will always be proud to call him their Marine and their veteran.
Harold's life was also a story of strength, change, and redemption. He completely turned his life around and was incredibly proud of being clean and sober. He celebrated two years of sobriety, a milestone that meant so much to him. Through an amazing program of recovery, he found strength, purpose, and a renewed commitment to living his life differently. He didn't keep that strength to himself—he served his community and worked to help others along the way.
Harold was proud of the man he had become. He was proud to be sober. He was proud to be a father. He was proud to be a Marine. And he was proud of the life he was building with his family.
He also loved adventure and never shied away from a challenge. Harold enjoyed competing in Spartan races, pushing himself physically and mentally and bringing his buddies along for the experience. He shared many of those adventures with his friends Jason Wold and Wolfgang, creating memories and stories that will remain with them.
But some of Harold's most precious memories were the simple ones. He loved going fishing with his son, spending time together away from the noise of everyday life. Those moments of laughter, conversation, and simply being together are memories his family will treasure forever.
Harold leaves behind his loving wife, Dezirea; his five children, Carly Lynn, Lucas James, Rilee Joy, Christopher James, and Odin Xane; his mother, Tammy Stillman; his brother, Kenneth Oliver; and countless family members and friends who loved him.
To those who knew Harold, his absence will be felt in a thousand little ways—in the memories, the stories, the laughter, the adventures, the fishing trips, and the moments when someone wishes they could hear his voice or sit beside him one more time.
Harold wasn't perfect, but he was real. He faced his struggles, fought to change his life, and found something worth fighting for. He showed that a person can turn their life around, find recovery, serve others, and become the person they want to be.
His greatest pride was being a daddy. His greatest victories were becoming clean and sober and giving back to his community. And one of his proudest honors was being a United States Marine and a veteran who served his country.
Harold's journey may have come to an end, but the love he gave and the lives he touched will continue through the people who knew him.
Harold, you were deeply loved. You were a husband, a daddy, a son, a brother, a Marine, a veteran, and a friend. You fought hard, you loved hard, and you never stopped trying to become a better man.
Your family will carry you with them—in every fishing trip, every challenge, every Spartan race, every laugh, and every memory.
Semper Fi, Harold.
Rest easy. You fought your fight, you served your country, you loved your family, and you left your mark on this world. Your children will carry your love forward, and your memory will live on in everyone who had the privilege of knowing you.
You will never be forgotten.
