Saturday April 11th, 2026, we said the final goodbyes to the love of my life, Kimberly Corinne Brickley. If you knew Kim, you know that she never met a stranger. She was the kindest, gentlest and most loving soul I ever met. Kim blessed me with the most wonderful 42 years of my life. Together, we brought 3 of the most beautiful souls into this world, Alex, Casey and Austin. In May of 2023, my love was diagnosed with breast cancer and took on the battle bravely. Overcoming lymph node removal, partial mastectomy and re-construction surgeries along with the associated radiation and chemo therapies. Unfortunately, this was not to be the end of Kim’s battle with cancer on March 12th, 2025, Kim collapsed out of nowhere. I thought she had a stroke, but it turned out it was a seizure. From this point we found out that Kim had Glioblastoma in her left temporal lobe. With the tumor removal, more radiation and chemo treatments, Kim was able to spend her final year watching her sweet grandson Rowen grow, her daughter Casey and son Austin both marry to the most wonderful partners. Kim and I enjoyed one of the most beautiful and loving years ever. We will be having a celebration of life for Kim soon with date and time to be provided. I cannot express my gratitude enough for all the loving outreach from friends and family.
