In Loving Memory of Ramona Lois Taylor

Ramona Lois Taylor of Colorado (Widefield, Palmer Lake, Monument, Elizabeth, Weston), passed away peacefully on April 6, 2026, at the age of 72. Born on March 1, 1954, in Tacoma, Washington, Mona lived a life defined by love, devotion, faith, and unwavering commitment to her family and friends.

Mona was a woman of abiding faith who believed in God and carried that belief with quiet strength throughout her life. Her kindness, her generosity, and her compassion for others will always be remembered. Her family takes comfort in knowing she has been welcomed into Heaven, at peace and reunited with loved ones who went before her.

She was the beloved wife of Terry Taylor, with whom she shared more than 51 beautiful years of marriage. Together, they built a life rooted in love, family, and friends - a legacy that will continue for generations.

She was a devoted mother to Debra, Robin, and Terri, and a proud grandmother to Jared, Shane, Brittney, Ethan, Brendyn, and Paige. She was also a cherished “GG” to Lucas, Mila, Ryland, and Oliver, who brought her immense joy. Mona found her greatest happiness in raising her daughters and spoiling her grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Mona was preceded in death by her parents, Glenn T. Armstrong and Virginia Catherine Robison, as well as her siblings Glenn Armstrong and Debra Glenn. She is survived by her loving brothers and sisters: Marie DeYuliis, Elwyn Armstrong, Mary Gall, Rocky Armstrong, Betty Redmon, Hobert Armstrong, Kelly Tavolara, and Meridith (Hammie) Hamilton.

As the daughter of a Navy family, Ramona spent her childhood traveling the world growing up in Indian Head, MD, graduating High School in Morton, Washington. She then moved to Long Beach, California where she met the love of her life, Terry. They later made their home in Colorado, where Mona dedicated herself to raising her daughters and serving her community.

Throughout her life, Mona wore many hats with grace and dedication. She worked for School District 38, served as a secretary for a youth ranch, and successfully ran her own bookkeeping business. Her commitment to others extended far beyond her work—she volunteered tirelessly with elementary schools, Girl Scouts, Palmer Lake Parks and Recreation, and the Jaycees, always giving her time and heart to those around her.

Mona will be remembered as a loving wife, devoted mother, proud grandmother and great-grandmother, and a woman of strong faith whose life reflected grace and compassion. Her warmth, generosity, and strength will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Her legacy of love, faith, family, and service will live on in all who were blessed to know her.

We invite those who wish to celebrate Mona’s life for an afternoon of remembrance on Saturday, April 11th starting at 2pm MST. No matter where you are, as we know Mona has family and friends far and wide, please join in on an intentional afternoon of celebration and reflection with your loved ones. Whether you choose to raise a glass or a Pepsi in Mona’s honor, we encourage all to use this time to spread love and laughter.

The family hopes to hold a gathering in the coming months to celebrate Mona’s life together in person. More information will be shared when available.

“Well done, good and faithful servant… Enter into the joy of your Lord.” — Matthew 25:23
